WILDERNESS OF PARADISE - II

 

        The charming and multiracial population of the state is formed by the mixture of Paraguayans, Bolivians, Lebanese, Syrian, Spanish, Arabic, Japanese and Indians, who add to the multiplicity of races that make up the Mato Grosso do Sul [MS] natives, people of charming and historic traditions.

            The beautiful towns of the inner state preserve the tradition and culture of the man and woman from the swamps. The state is also the second in number of Amerindian inhabitants of various ethnic groups, among them Atikum, Guaicuru, Guarany, Guató, Kadiwéu, Kamba, Kikinawa, Ofaié, Terena, Xiquitano...
